Built by two people who got tired of waiting for someone else to make this.
Active Builders is what we wished existed when we were earlier in our own journeys: a small, private room of people who are actually building, without the gurus, the spammy outreach, or the five-figure cohorts.
The community we kept looking for, until we just made it.
The internet is full of communities. Most of them are loud, transactional, or full of people more interested in growing their audience than building.
Active Builders is the opposite. Quiet, small, opinionated, and useful. The bar to get in is simple: you are actively building, or you are seriously trying to be.
We keep pricing accessible on purpose. $14 a month covers hosting and tools and keeps drive-by signups out. The real cost of membership is showing up.
Who we are.

Jon is a product builder working at the intersection of design and code. He writes about product, design, and audience growth, and ships digital products with a focus on storytelling and the kind of craft people actually want to use.
A few opinions, in case they help.
- Ship work, not opinions.
The best signal you exist is the thing you made this month. Talk is cheap, and a live link beats a hot take every time.
- Small and weird wins.
Niche, opinionated, and well-made beats broad and bland. The stuff that stands out is rarely the stuff built to please everyone.
- Money is not the enemy.
Charge for your work. We charge for this. It is honest, it keeps the lights on, and it keeps the people who do not care out.
- Privacy by default.
What gets posted in the room stays in the room. No screenshots, no growth-hacking your peers, no audience farming.
